I have 4 mega doorbells. 2 wired and 2 wireless. I would like to know which would be best. My sounds are all different for each chime but I know I need to match a wired one with a wireless one. On the main page of "home chimes.com" you say "it doesn't matter if you have wired or wireless system. It is best to match the hardwired to the wireless chime. Is it really that important? I thought the wireless chime was the same sound as the wired chime so that they would look similar on the rez?
If you have both wired and wireless, the only thing that matters is that they sound the same. If you have wired, wired chime is what you want. If you have wireless, wireless chime is what you want. Using the example above, if you have wired chime with wired doorbell, it won't have the hardwired feel of the wired chime. If you have wireless chime with wired doorbell it will sound different than the wired chime. But, if the sound of the wireless chime and wired chime are the same, it doesn't matter since you aren't going to hear the wired chime sound anyway.
You're right though, it's a small detail. The main thing is that it should sound the same. But still I want to know if it matters that it has the same sound. As long as it sounds the same it doesn't matter much right? I don't know what the difference between a wired chime and a wireless one is but I want to learn more.
I'm afraid you will find little difference in the sound quality. It will depend on the distance to your home. If the distance is equal or less than about 20-30Feet, you will likely hear only the ultrasonic ring. If the distance is greater than 30 Feet the audible ring will ring. d2c66b5586
